Spotlight: First off, for those readers that are new to you, would you like to introduce yourself and give a brief history about your dancing career? Ê

Misha: My name is Misha Gabriel Hamilton and I'm 16 years old. I first started dancing at the age of 5, doing ballet with my mom who is a ballet teacher. When I was 14 years old I was introduceed to hip hop, jazz and lyrical which I embraced fully. Since then I have danced at NBA Halftime shows, appeared on ESPN 2, was excepted into the Motion Underground Elite team as the youngest member and toured with Aaron Carter.

Spotlight: When did you first realize that dancing is what you wanted to pursue professionally and at such a young age? Ê
Misha: I was 15 years old when I went to my first concert (NSYNC). Seeing Justin Timberlake up there dancing in front of thoundsands of people just made me want to be him so bad. I was so excited to be there and from then on I just wanted to do that.

Spotlight: Was there anything thatÊyou found it hard to adjust to when you toured with Aaron Carter, or whenever you go on the road and have to leave your family and friends?
Misha: It was hard to leave my family of course but as far as friends go, Tony and Randi were 2 of my very good friends before the tour so it was pretty easy to adjust.

Spotlight: Out of all the styles of dance, what would you say are your most/least favorites? Why?
Misha: Hip Hop and Lyrical are my favorite styles of dance. Hip hop because it's so hard hitting and fun and lyrical because it's very free and has a lot to do with emotions. Ballet is my least favorite because it's the hardest, it's also the one that's best for me.

Spotlight: Let's say that you were to come up with your own style of dance. What would it be like, and what would you call it?
Misha: I would mix all styles of dance and call it THE ALL STYLES OF DANCE DANCE STYLE. haha.

Spotlight: If you weren't able to dance, what would you be doing with your life right now?
Misha: Learning to act or sing.

Spotlight: What has been your biggest accomplishment so far?
Misha: I'd say the Aaron Carter tour was a big accomplishment but other than that the Performer of the Year award at Co. Dance Nationals was pretty cool. I hope to become a better ballet dancer and hip hop choreographer.

Spotlight: Where do you see yourself in five years? Ten?
Misha: In five years I hopefully see myself dancingÊ or choreographing for big artists (i.e. Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears, Michael Jackson). And in ten years I hope to be singing or acting in some form of a solo career.

Spotlight:What is the best advice you have been given about dancing?
Misha: Train hard and take good care of your body.

Spotlight: What advice would you give to aspiring dancers? Ê
Misha: Train hard and take good care of your body.

Spotlight: Thanks so much for taking time away from your schedule to do this interview for Spotlight Entertainment! We look forward to continuing to get updates on you and your ventures... and we'll see you on the road soon!
